In this first book in the Ghost Buddy series, sixth grader Billy Broccoli is trying to adjust to life in a new house, a new school, and a newly expanded family when he realizes that there is a teenage ghost living in his room. As he encounters a bully, he may just need the ghost after all! This fresh, funny story is a fast read and would work well as a read-aloud or an independent reading selection. It would also make a great starting point for discussions on bullying.
