The Case of the Incapacitated Capitals by Robin Pulver

Pulver, Robin. The Case of the Incapacitated Capitals. New York: Holiday House, 2012. 32p.

Mr. Wright's students, much to the chagrin of their teacher, have forgotten to use capital letters in their writing. This book is a great choice for classes (and teachers!) facing the same problem. While reading this book aloud, teachers can pause in the middle to have students capitalize the class letter within the story correctly before reading the ending. The helpful rules at the book's conclusion are also worth sharing, and may even be worthy of a class chart/ poster!
