In this beautifully illustrated picture book, students are introduced to 11 varieties of frogs whose habitats span across six continents around the world. Each two page spread includes facts about a different frog species followed by a watercolor & tempera illustration of the frog in its natural habitat. At the end of the book, the author provides real photographs and additional information about each frog. An authors note explains some of the environmental problems threatening different species. This is a wonderful nonfiction picture book to accompany any nature themed science lesson.
