This beautiful counting book about the ocean incorporates a colorful photograph of a different kind of ocean animal, a paragraph of informative text, a "Did you know?" side box and of course a large number that stands out against the background. This nonfiction text supports much more than counting skills and is a perfect addition to any underwater themed unit. Also included are many common core text features for the primary level.
