Ike is an avid reader and cannot wait to write his first story! But when he sits down to begin, he finds that the writing process does not come to him easily and he begins to procrastinate. He cleans, he looks for the perfect pen, he talks to friends, but none of these techniques work! Ike then sets off on a whimsical quest for the missing ingredient that will help him write his story - magical ink! Kids will be drawn to the imaginative illustrations and the lengths that Ike will go to in order to finally create his perfect story!
