This beautiful, lyrical book explains to readers what they should and should not do if they want to see a whale. The repeated phrase "if you want to see a whale" may inspire students or classes to write "if you want to..." books of their own with descriptive passages, phrase repetition and (if their books are nonfiction) some fascinating research!
