Millie, a quiet girl, feels plain and ignored. To start getting attention, she decides to make herself look and act fierce. When she is noticed, though, Millie does not receive the kind of attention she wanted after all.
This is a good selection for character education discussions on behavior. It will help students realize that they can get plenty of attention through kindness and by making someone else's day.
