Being Frank by Donna Earnhardt

Earnhardt, Donna. Being Frank. Brooklyn: Flashlight Press, 2012. 32p.

A boy named Frank who lives by the motto "Honesty is the best policy" is a bit too Frank with the people around him. When he notices that he is upsetting people, he turns to Grandpa Ernest, who teaches Frank how to be both honest and kind at the same time. This book is an excellent discussion-starter that will help students develop tactfulness.
