This presidential biography would work well for introducing features of nonfiction text (including table of contents, headings, timelines, glossary and index) while teaching students about the life and accomplishments of our first president. When paired with Abraham Lincoln by the same author, it's an excellent choice for Presidents' Day discussions in the early elementary grades.
