When his class makes birthday cards for the school principal, Stan grows frustrated and embarrassed by his backwards, upside down letters. A friend encourages Stan to ask for help, and Stan finally finds the bravery he needs to speak up. With teacher guidance and lots of practice, Stan and his classmate Mimi make great strides.
This book will comfort students as they realize that everyone struggles at some point, and that by asking for help when needed and practicing, we can overcome any challenges.
